Creativity has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a somewhat shy child and self-proclaimed ‘extroverted introvert’, I would lean on my creativity to entertain and connect with those around me. During class presentations I would usually revert to imagery/video to ‘speak’ my story for me. As an adult my first foray into photography was taking my pocket Digital Elph camera on travels around the world, snapping moments with friends. Upon moving to Northern California in 2011, I began to explore the abundant natural surroundings. This renewed appreciation for the outdoors led me to want to learn digital photography, in particular to capture natural wonders. My drive to share the beauty of this world with others has motivated me to explore this passion further. If the key to happiness is to fulfill the most authentic, truthful expression of ourselves as human beings, then it is absolutely important that we explore the things in life that drive us most.
